MYRA

Y earning the spirit of compassion, embodied with the florid ecstasy of fellow feeling…
R everberating the holy hymn of service to manking….
A rousing the gradually fading human values, with the azure touch of selfless oneness..

What we do defines who we are. With a specific provision in each one’s life we all are accumulated here on this Earth and the prime is to serve the mankind, to serve the poor.

On 18th January 2016, MYRA was conceived as an effort of a few socially sensitive people who came from different backgrounds, charged with the vision of working with the vulnerable sections of the society.

What We Do

MYRA ensuring smiles, offer clothing, balanced, nutritious meals, health care for the elderly and needy – and most important, lots of hugs and unconditional love. We understand the needs and requirements of the penniless and distressed people, support them overcome the adversities of life. We works to address root causes of poverty and inequality. we help people who are struggling by addressing the often complex issues at the root of their need.

We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean but the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.

Our core is our program. Whether it is to help blind peoples, to help beggars, to meet retired person in his home, to meet an unhealthy person in hospital, to distribute sarees to needy women, to distribute Umbrellas, to meet children in orphanages or to meet Slums in metros, We do whatever it takes to help people shine in life.

The purpose of the human life is to serve others. Happiness begins from the moment you do something for others. However, when doing so, you should not expect something in return, your intention should be to lessen other people’s misery.

India is a home to millions of poor people who have limited means in life. Some even struggle to get the basics in life i.e. food, water, clothing and shelter. Despite considerable progress made in the socio-economic sphere since independence, even today more populations live below the poverty line. In such scenario, intervention by MYRA become extremely important along with its initiatives.

We provide economic opportunities for those living in poverty, train men and women who currently have no marketable skills. Donating groceries can help end the hunger of poor and needy people. They cannot even afford a single time meal for themselves and their family, so donating food will make their stomach fill and stay healthy. Rather than wasting food or throwing it, it is better to give it to a needy person. Our programs are environmentally friendly.

There is an abundance of people in this world who could use a helping hand, but do not know where to turn to. On the other side of the spectrum there are people with resources, opportunities and knowledge that want to share these gifts with the less fortunate but do not know where to start. We believe that the more donors know about extreme poverty and high impact interventions, the easier it is to decide the ways to support MYRA.

Our collective efforts focus on a collection of core areas that we believe can make a difference in the lives of people in need by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people via internet. Every donor is appreciated and aids the cause, no matter how big or how small. Development is not a gift or privilege. It is a process that MYRA push for. Our money will be put to efficient use to conduct social welfare activities for children and enable them to get a sound childhood. When thousands of donors contribute to MYRA on a regular basis, the latter build a pool of funds which is then used to devise and execute different activities under the preview of several benefits.

The vulnerable population, especially women and children, are being targeted by MYRA to improve their health and well being. Specifically, the focus is on improving access to safe drinking water and guaranteeing access to better sanitation facilities. Additionally, the dissemination of better hand washing practices and other hygiene behaviors leads to a reduction in water-borne diseases and ultimately a reduction in health costs.
